At The Bridge Central Coast, our vision is to connect people with Jesus. Why the name, “The Bridge?” From the beginning we felt God calling us to be:
-a Bridge connecting people to Jesus
-a Bridge connecting young and old (the generations)
-a Bridge of UNITY to the region.
Our desire when we gather is to create a culture and an atmosphere where people connect with Jesus, grow in their identity in Him, learn to grow in their passion and love for the Word of God, and learn how to do life together as a church family and obediently walk out the calling God has placed upon their lives. We do this through practical Bible teaching, contemporary worship and creating a host of opportunities for significant and supportive relationships. Making disciples in a healthy church environment is our mission- we invite you to join us.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS?

We are located at 3130 Skyway Dr. STE 501, 502, and 604 in Santa Maria, California, 93455. We are directly across the street from Santa Maria Times and the Santa Maria Airport.
Our Sunday Morning Service times are 8am, 10am and 1230pm. All services offer Childcare from 3months -3yrs old. Sunday School from 4yrs -5th grade, and Jr. High Ministry (6th-8th Grade).

All of our worship services have a casual and informal atmosphere. The worship and music style is contemporary, passionate, and led by a full worship band.
Our speakers and messages are dynamic in style, inspiring, biblically sound, and offer practical application for right and holy Christian living. We have a rotating teaching team whose styles are different but all engaging and biblically sound. You will not only learn and grow in your faith, but you will also probably be emotionally touched and inspired by each message and the powerful atmosphere of the Lord’s presence at The Bridge.

Come as you are. We are a casual church. You will find a range of dress styles from jeans to t-shirts, dresses and an occasional sport coat. So come dressed however you are comfortable and you will fit right in.

If you own a Bible you will want to bring it. Our Pastors don’t preach sermons as much as they simply teach the Bible. They will refer to it often-and even encourage you to mark it up as your life-textbook. If you don’t have one, just ask one of the ushers and we can get you one to borrow for that morning until you can get your own. We also have Bibles available for sale in our Merch room as well.
As far as what version we use? Our pastors primarily teach from what is known as the New International Version Bible (NIV). If you have another version you are used to or prefer, bring it along. The differences from version to version are mostly minor. Having an NIV will simply make it easier to follow along when our pastors read or point the wording in a particular verse or passage.

At the Bridge we LOVE KIDS! Our trained team of background checked teachers and volunteers help teach kids about Jesus and how much he loves them each week. Our Children’s ministry team will have you register your kids, ages infant -5th grade, when you arrive in our Check in and Merch Room. A label for you and a label for each child with a matching security code will be printed. You will need this label to pick your child up at the end of service. If you child needs you for any reason during the service your child’s security number will flash up on the corner of the LED screen and a member of our children’s team will come find you if you don’t come back right away.
If you have an infant and you are not comfortable using the nursery, we also have a Mother’s Room available as well as a Wiggle Room where you can watch your child as well as watch the service.

We’d love to meet you and hear more of your story. Our New to Church Gatherings happen quarterly and are designed for those who have recently discovered The Bridge and are looking to make The Bridge their home church. At these events you will share a meal with our Pastors and leadership team as well as will get to know more of who we are, what we believe in, what expectations are as a member of our church and how to get connected in a group or join a serve team. We also have a few fun ice breaker games where you can get to know others and start building new community within our Bridge family. THIS IS A MINISTRY FOR WIDOWS, AND DIVORCED SINGLE WOMEN AT THE CHURCH AND IS LED BY DEBBI CLOUD. THIS IS A TIME FOR FELLOWSHIP, PRAYER, FUN AND BIBLE STUDY. BRING SOMETHING TO SHARE. THE PURPOSE OF THIS GROUP IS TO HELP THIS GROUP OF WOMEN TO FEEL MORE CONNECTED TO THE CHURCH COMMUNITY AND TO PLAN FUN ADVENTURES TO FOSTER GROWTH AND RELATIONSHIPS SUCH AS (MOVIES, GO TO A PLAY, HIKING, PLAYING GAMES, SHOPPING AND MORE).
